About The Trail of Thomas Love
The Trail of Thomas Love is the latest musical adventure of Shropshire born songwriter and photographer Nathan Tromans. He was the voice and words behind 90’s indie rock band Mustard, going on to form John the Revelator in 2000, working with a number of musicians, including Gavin Monaghan, Producer from Magic Garden Studios, Dylan Line, from The Soft Hearted Scientists, Sam Harding, from The Black Rapids, John Large and Tom Livemore from Carina Round’s band and Jonathan Day.
John the Revelator shared the stage with a number of artists, including; Jose Gonzales, James Yorkston, Teddy Thompson, Joan as Policewoman, Vigilantes of Love and Mojave 3, before retreating in to hibernation in 2006.
The Trail of Thomas Love is rooted in Shropshire’s Severn Gorge, playing dark, slow music, exploring the myths of the surrounding landscape, the longings of it’s real and imagined characters and their journeys and homecomings.
